"Ailment's Lament" is an immersive, narrative-driven game that thrusts players into the role of a young alchemist with a mysterious past. Raised by a figure known only as The Master, you've traveled in a steel-reinforced carriage, offering your healing services to villages ravaged by the Century Disease, a relentless plague with ever-mutating symptoms.

1. Mystical Alchemy and Crafting: Utilize an extensive array of ancient recipes to craft potent elixirs and remedies. Each potion must be carefully tailored to the unique symptoms of your patients, using the Ailment Compendium as your guide.
2. Dynamic Disease System: Encounter a variety of ailments, from the common Sparrow's Cough to the rare and deadly God's Wrath. No two diseases are the same, requiring constant learning and adaptation.
3. Interactive Environment: Inside your carriage-laboratory, interact with a detailed, dynamic environment. Mix potions, consult sacred texts, and manage correspondence with patients and The Master through a repurposed chute.
4. Multiple Endings: Your choices throughout the game shape the narrative, leading to a good or bad ending. Will you triumph over the relentless scourge of the Century Disease, bringing hope and healing to a world in dire need, or will the overwhelming force of the epidemic prove too great?
5. Multiple Difficulties: Choose from Easy, Normal, or Impossible each coming with unique mechanics. Normal is the way the game is intended to be played.
